Which is the best brewery? I like good vibes and friendly staff as well as tasty brews.

106 places listed on BA ...how does one narrow it down??? Lol

The Vegas folks will be of help here, but it's probably going to come down to where you're staying and how far you're willing to Uber/Lyft/drive. That and what type of beers you're looking for.

When I'm in Vegas I usually skip the breweries and just go straight for the hookers and blow. YMMV.

My favorite two Vegas Breweries are Tenaya Creek and Beer District Brewing, for their ability to brew solid beers across multiple styles.

Most people go to Vegas for a long weekend, and Downtown/The Arts District may be the furthest they'll venture, so these recommendations are for this type of Vegas visitor:

    Near Strip
    • Ellis Island (Front Yard has a decent draft selection)
    • Tuscany (Pub 365 has a good local and regional craft beer selection
    Arts District
    • Beer District Brewing (Very Good to Great across many styles)
    • HopNuts (Focus on Haze and West Coast IPAs)
    • Able Baker (Brews many styles, Chris Kael their best beer)
    • Nevada Brew Works - Love their Rye Beer
    • Silver Stamp, Three Sheets and Rebar - Solid local and regional craft beer list
    Fremont Street / Downtown
    • Tenaya Creek (Solid across many styles)
    • Banger, Triple 7 (in Main Street) & Chicago Brewery (in Four Queens) hit or miss.
    • Atomic Lounge and Pizza Rock solid regional and local craft lists.
    • Full Pay VP + Decent Regional Beer: The D (Vue Bar); Triple 7 (MSS - Casino should reopen this Summer).
For those with access to a car, or staying beyond the Strip/Downtown, here are additional solid choices worth searching on line to determine whether their selections work for you:

    Craft Beer Bars: Aces and Ales (Tenaya fancier, East side is divey);

Craft Beer Bottle Shop and Taproom:
Khourey's (Henderson) & Beer Zombies (South Strip, Summerlin).

Craft Beer To Go: Speedee Mart
    (throughout the valley)

    Henderson Breweries:
CraftHaus (also have a smaller taproom downtown); Astronomy Ale Works - Love Pluto is a Planet), Lovelady (on Water Street).

I'll stump for Ellis, if nothing else, for their bbq. And FWIW, their beers have gotten quite a bit better (at least they were in Dec) and still quite cheap--free if you're playing.

I'll also.add that Scenic Brewing had a very tasty oatmeal stout that IIRC, is one of their mainstay brews. Their BW was good, too.

Here to chime in on Ellis Island as well ... their new Front Yard is a serious transformation - lots of space, bright & airy ... coupled with $3 16oz house beers - BEST VALUE in Vegas for sure & the brews are pretty tasty as well!

I couldn't tell you about breweries (I was on a steady diet of Guinness, Jameson and Stella when i was in Vegas last), but may I recommend going to the very very very end of the strip past Circus Circus and going to Bajamar for some fish tacos. The spicy octopus tacos are just stupid good.

For what it's worth, Stella tends to be the best free beer at most casinos. Some will have Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, or Negra Modelo, but they ALL have Stella. My wife and I have done a "macro showdown" 2-3 times under those circumstances, and Stella usually wins. Heineken and Beck's occasionally do well, but they're skunky most of the time. That and most places don't carry Beck's anymore. If you're on the strip, don't sleep on the Hofbräuhaus. The beers taste just like the real thing. Skip the food, but there's nothing wrong with hoisting a couple liters. They're closed right now, but reopen on 6/1.

Haven’t thought about Freakin’ Frog in ages. Dust off the old cobwebs.

To original post, all depends where you are staying. Assuming strip area then hit up downtown. Won’t be short for options as there’s now about 6 breweries on same street. All quite solid. My move though as a real snob would be Beer Zombies at Dean Martin location. Sample the taps then pick up cans to go.

Since I was just in Vegas I will add my experience:

The Arts District is well worth the $20 Uber ride from the strip. You have a half dozen breweries all within walking distance. All have their unique niche so I'd suggest going to each of their FB or google sites to check out your own unique preferences. I went to HUDL and Able Baker. Both were solid. HUDL shares a wall with Nevada Brew Works. Able Baker had quite a few high ABV beers available - sort of weird for the time of year. AB also has a cool "story" about brewing and the invention of nuclear energy. I wanted to go back the next day but I was running hot at a poker tourney (chopped with final 4 people - $800 a piece - 80 entrants). Probably fun to go after dark cause it was HOT at 2:00 PM.

In front of Paris there is Beer Park. All outside and right across from the Bellagio fountains. Great food. Half their taps of the local crafts were gone, but it seemed like a pretty good showing of beers would have been available. Lots of TVs for sports.

Ellis Island is behind Planet Hollywood, off the strip. Walkable to get there. I went just to experience the least expensive craft beer in the world. Actually had a great lineup and well worth it.

Trustworthy is in the shopping piece of the Venetian. Its tucked back in a corner so ask how to get there. Solid line of beers though.

Beerhaus on the side of NYNY. Solid food and a good showing of a lot of local beers. More sport-like. Lots of TVs for sports.

Ellis is less than a mile from The Flamingo. Plan on their bbq for dinner, as well as their much improved brews.

    My go to spots:

Aces and ales. The tenaya location is bigger but in an industrial/tech district if that's not your thing the go to their other location. Regardless, you wont be disappointed.

Tenaya creek brewing: low key but good nonetheless.

    Cheers.

Yes, these are my two go tos as well in Vegas, the The Silver Stamp recently opened is my favorite beer bar world wide, highly recommend for anyone visiting. Also enjoyed visiting Mohave Brewing for the first time, they had solid offerings across many styles and the only cask conditioned pump in Vegas that I know of.

If I only had time for one location staying on the strip, I would go to the Arts District, followed by Downtown, near strip and off strip. Updated rankings after last visit, includes changes due to new brewers/brewers leaving previous favorites.

    Arts District
    1. The Silver Stamp (Arts District) <= Favorite Beer Bar / Location
    2. Able Baker
    3. Beer District Brewing
    4. Hop Nuts Brewing
    Downtown & Fremont Street
    1. Tenaya Creek (Bonanza less than a mile NW of Fremont Street) <= Favorite LV Brewery
    2. Banger Brewing (Fremont Street)
    3. Triple 7 (Main Street Station Casino)
    4. Chicago Brewery (Inside 4 Queens)
    5. Pizza Rock
    Near Strip
    1. Ellis Island (Behind Bally's)
    2. Beer Zombies (near Raiders Stadium - Hype styles - Haze, Pastry Stouts, a few others)
    3. Tuscany 365 (Half mile east on Flamingo Ave)
    Henderson
    1. Khoury's (Bottle Shop & Tap Handles)
    2. Mohave Brewing (on Water Street)
    3. CraftHaus (Auto Zone complex - Astronomy and Bad Beat near)
    4. Lovelady Brewing (on Water Street)
    Summerlin / West
    1. Aces and Ales (Tenaya Ave)
    2. Beer Zombies (DT Summerlin - Hype styles - Haze, Pastry Stouts, a few others)
    3. Hop Nuts (Tivoli Village Shopping Mall)
    4. Speedee Mart (Several Locations - Solid Regional Craft selection)
