Made a run today. Had to get more of the Echos!
Always amazed at how seamless the pickup is.
Almost never more than 1 car in front of me, staff are always super friendly.

Love getting such quality for such little hassle!

They're my happy place. I can't wait to have a beer there and spend time with the nicest people imaginable. I also picked up an order yesterday.

Any chance there are discussions about when a taproom re-opening may take place while you guys are casually picking up some of the best beer in the Northeast?

Is this another bankable prediction from Koztradamus?

He's right. The out door food requirement went away on May 1st. Everything else on the 19th. Or so I've been told.

Dang, I am the dude holding 22 billion of it, so that is a big move for a pint of beer, but why not!

Sorry, I didn't get back to you until now- I was installing my Barrel Aged Freckled Fields bubbler in my moon palace.

    Avalonia: Cherry as well.

“In keeping with recent tradition, we’re pleased to share an exciting new Avalonia variant in celebration of yet another year of brewing here on Music Vale Road. Avalonia: Medley was dreamed up (by brewer Dan) with the intention of capturing the vibrant flavors of a peak summer, ripe berry salad. As always, a careful blend of barrel-aged mixed fermentation ales forms a clean, nuanced base with gentle acidity for which the fruit to rest. A refermentation on whole Boysenberries and Blueberries yields a complexity of berry character you wouldn’t quite expect from just two fruits. And finally, a light infusion of fresh mint and lime brings the concept to life.”

Man, I am drinking a Rove batch 3 and it is amazing- I thought HF was heads above other brewers in this style, but factoring in cost.... This Rove is hard to beat.

That is great news! Looks like it will be a stop at FF on my way to Cape again this year!

Great that Fox Farm is reopening and I'll be by very soon, but is this just beer or do I need my Masters in English to scroll through these posts by them? This reads a little too much like a Hill Farmstead or Tree House screed for my liking. When I read "illuminating", "rejuvenated", "serenity", "tranquil" in one paragraph, the pretentiousness just oozes from the page. However, I fortunately know from my visits that their team is not actually like that.

That's a beach beer at 4.2%. I'll be stocking up as well.

A new lager from FF is an automatic trip. Can't wait to try that one!

Who wants to give me the rundown on the Mild and the Bitter? What about the Altbier? I’ll likely stay away from hops, so happy to load up on standouts of the other beers.

Also, the Norwegian Farmhouse. I’ve been “meh” on kviek. Skip it?

I’ve made a reservation for an upcoming day that I happen to be passing through the area.

@mrmattosgood Tiddly will be pushing three months and frankly, the nitro version has less character/depth than the straight up Mild.

Bitter and Alt are worth at least two cans for a taste; same with Varonna, one bottle is minimal investment. I posted this of Varonna in the Saison thread:

“Very satisfying. Apple, lemon, pear on the nose; ends with some earthiness and hay. Similar taste, perhaps some generic citrus. Subdued acidity/fuck. The mouthfeel is quite effervescent; definitely a highlight. Minimal bitterness and dryness. Will grab a few more bottles of this batch.”
