This is a really nice take on a WCIPA. Haven't had it in a long time. Quite good. Peace...

This weeks AAL. Can has a date of May 3rd and doesn't have have a BB.
Could this be the freshest Colt 45 ever? I have to say it is way better than I thought it would be. Not as sickly sweet as I remember it but man it might be 20-30 years since Ive had one. Long lasting bone white head with some decent rings of lacing and lots of carbonation with a steady stream of rising bubbles. Corn, grain on the nose and taste but the metallic slightly bitter finish is where this shows its true colors. Again not terrible but the chemical finish after multiple sips puts this where it should be. Cheers![IMG]

More Swedish rippers. Orcus IPA by Apex Brewing. One of the founders was the guitarist for one of the seminal Swedish hardcore bands of the 90s.

I've always loved the African folk/pop/rock/jazz sounds of the 60s and 70s. And I've had the pleasure of seeing Mahlatini and the Mahotella Queens (together and separately) a few times in the Washington DC area back in the 90s. And, of course, there is Osibisa and Juluka for other fairly well-known African continent popular music...

But many times it is the (to me) relatively obscure artists that I only find on compilations that really grab me...

Tired Hands Helles People, yup I prefer this to Weihenstephan. A bit drier, a bit more bite in the end. Both are nice however!

A later tee time for golf today; one of the old guys had a doctor appointment. Hell, at our age, there's always a doctor appointment.
Anyway, we had fun and there was Elevated IPA after the round.

Nothing more manly than a can that says BEER and pretty much nothing else. I bet that's the only beer Chuck Norris drinks.

Home early, enjoying a Wawayanda Kill from The Drowned Lands in Warwick, NY, a pink grapefruit color, berry flavored, sour IPA, really quite delicious. I've had a handful of 'Drowned Lands' beer and really enjoyed each one.

If there is one person in this world that can actually find Fosters in Australia, that's probably Chuck Norris.

I am prolonging this. She is drinking a bit less and peeing a bit less but still eating.... no poop today yet so thats never a good sign. She still climbs her little stairs and gets to her "spot". I am hoping for a sign that will say its time but Im afraid thats not coming. I am going to have to make the decision. Im thinking a few days....

When Chuck Norris enters a room, he doesn't turn the lights on, he turns the dark off.
