What beer are you drinking now? #3124

Oskar Blues' Can-O-Bliss Citrus IPA......Its just a good beer.

 

Bouncing around a few new spots that have opened. Good to see life coming back to any new local businesses.

Had a few at Canary Cafe. Which is a coffee shop, but also has wine and beer as well. Its the Monday after Mother's Day, and assuming they got wiped out of their selection. As they only had one beer on tap, from True Anomaly. Though they didn't know which beer it was ha. I think its Trappist-1 which is a pretty good Belgian Pale Ale. I won't judge them too harshly, and definitely want to try some of the food at some point. Its a neat spot, that concentrates more on the coffee side than anything, but it was $4 a pint and I'm happy.



Next went over to a new beer and wine bar. The Post. With a kick ass burger and Avery Maharaja. Haven't seen one of these in years it seems, still a really good Imperial IPA.

 

Yyeeesss... glad you enjoyed Vallejo. To me it is the Pilsner of Nelson beers. Crisp and cliff dry but still white

 

That’s why I drink beer. To provide inspiration for others.

 

The Irish in me loves the undiluted Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Sláinte!

Huh? Maybe it was like 5 years old? The last one I had was the skunkiest beer I’ve ever seen, the whole house stunk like cabbage.

 

Having this as my next beer of the evening. Actually still working doing a Windows 10 upgrade on a customers computer. Hopefully it's successful so I can close the ticket.

I'm going to head to my friend's cabin tomorrow on my Sunday. I've got some target practice to do with my bow. I've got to get ready for the 4th of July, because we're going to do a lot of archery that day.

An Exile G.G. Dunkel Lager. In my Great River Brewery glass. In the Spring of 2019 the Mississippi River broke a HESCOE barrier and became a part of Great River Brewery, putting an end to it. 2 years later Great Revivalist Brewery is getting ready to reopen in the same spot, after some extensive remodeling, of course.



Here's a few images of the flood from inside the brewery a few days later. When the barrier broke there were still people in downtown Davenport, IA. businesses that had to make a run for it.
