Definitely something to look forward to

 

A number of barrel aged beans I’ve had from Dark Matter have been ridiculously good. The 2 benthic aged beans they did were phenomenal.

 

Somebody post a review of the batch 5.

 

Best vanilla stout I haven’t had yet! FT: ISO Pappy

 

Hopefully everyone saw the IG story about Eunoia b5 on tap today...

 

I’m there drinking it now.

 

Vanilla not huge, but rye is coming through nicely. If you are looking for a vanilla bomb, this is not it. Nice BA stout with vanilla as a supporting actor.

 

Just noticed some interesting labeling on a can of Locked Layers:

I’m not sure how long they’ve been doing this but kudos to P3 for this level of clarity. Also, this beer rocks! Has a bit of sweetness but is stupidly drinkable for a DIPA.

 

Probably after all the blow back from the cheeseburger beer collab they did with Mikerphone where they put an entire cow in the mash tun... oh wait, never mind that was just a delusion I had.

LOL. All I can think of is the Non-fat frozen yogurt episode.

 

Agree on the beer. I'm a fan. Lactose isn't dairy though, so I'd call it misleading more than clarity. WHAT ELSE DIDN'T YOU USE IN THIS BEER?!!!???

Anyone crack their Eunoia b5 yet? Thoughts?

 

Good, not great. Wonderful mouthfeel, as always, but the flavor is pretty muted. I admire someone going for balance on a big beer like this...but it wasn't real exciting. Even at room temp there wasn't a ton going on.

Just one fool's opinion, of course.
