    My mother in law LOVED Bing Crosby, and I’ll admit it, that son of a bitch could act and sing as good as anybody. I lived in the San Fernando Valley for years, and if anybody would ever disparage that place, we’re trading fists. This song is easily in my top ten of all time.

    Half Acre Beer Hates Astronauts IPA (100% Citra). The first time I had this years ago it had a weird onion/garlic presence on draft. Batches since then haven’t had that until this most recent 2021 batch. The onion/garlic thing isn’t huge, but it’s there. Despite this, it’s still a quality Citra IPA with a big citrus/tropical presence and slight piney bitter finish. Good stuff as expected.

    Good Sunday afternoon, everyone. We're back from a great weekend at the Shore. My spring allergies are acting up so I'm enjoying a few beers in the cool, dry basement. First up is this terrific cucumber-lime Gose from Creature Comforts. It's a perfect post-lawn mowing beer. Thank you, @Roguer for this gem!

Felt good, but chasing down myriad drop shots has me a bit sore. Anyhow, I turned my dad on to this beer from Half Acre. He loves IPAs, albeit the more traditional ones. I'm not mad at him at all.     This is still big and boozy with a viscous mouthfeel. Plenty of bittersweet chocolate, slight coffee and bourbon barrel.
