    Looks like another wet day here in the SAT area - rained so hard yesterday I had to pull off the road and park for a while - don't often get to see black sleet mixed with white. Of course at home it's sunny and dry. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Kind of disappointing - weak aroma and flavors but well-hidden alcohol and excellent lacing - rating 3.5, rDev -15.9%.

    Good morning BAs! It’s 70° and beautiful now, and it will get to the low 80s today. I’ve spent the morning taking down/boxing Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations from 2016, the last holiday season mom was alive...coffee breaks time - FBS:

    Bottled 3/21/21. Poured at 57°. Fresh tasting roast coffee. Today I’ll clean out the RV for a camping trip this weekend. And tonight I’m going to a bottle share with some friends from Untappd. Here’s what I’m taking:

    Thanks for kicking it off @jkblr That is a nice looking combo. I do love rye but, I've never had that beer. I think I'll squeeze a bit of lime in a shot of rye to see what it's like. :thinking_face:

    I know in theory I should be beer-fasting during the week, buuuuut ....

    I'm under a lot of stress right now, personal and professional;
    I've got a ton of house work to do today (and tomorrow);
    I just ran for the first time in months (finally broke in my orthotics) - and with no extra knee pain!

    So I'm going to invoke what used to be a bit of a post-run tradition here: part reward, part motivation, and part relaxation. :slight_smile:

    Thanks jkblr for pull startin' today's thread!
    Kinda had rock n roll sleep last nite and look what jumped outa my fridge.
    This is a fine beer with an exceptional malt flavor and hops/malts being very nice to one another...in a rock n roll way. It has a soft finish. Fantastic!

    Engineering outlook dim again. No calls on over 2 weeks. I worked 10 hrs until 9am. My gf had an interview in Belden so we are at a1 steakhouse. Time for some sushi. Got a great lakes up now.
