Stone Delicious IPA on tap at a local bar. A fine American IPA. This bar has a better tap list then the one I was at yesterday. Guinness, Allagash White, Blue Moon,Coors Light, Bell’s 2 Hearted,Tom’s River Just Pils,,Kane Overhead, Sam Adam’s Summer Ale, Cape May The Grove, Stone Delicious IPA, Kona BIg Wave Lager. and Industrial Arts Wrench are also being served.

Big Doinks has some danky diesel goin' down the doinky trail.
Can touts extra-dank but honestly it's not bonkers or a power house hop-wise with the palate.
Pretty cool. Solid off white head w/good retention and smooth like mellow jazz at the finish.
Very good indeed and quite pleasant.
Also noticed that my pint glass is scratched. Good thing it's garage sale season!

A little over anxious on the pour. This is a wow beer from Lupulin. The can claims it should be illegal to put this many hops into beer thus the name "Strictly Illegal".

 

Checking in mid-week, with a "Disco Ninja" pairing for lunch. I will spare you the accompanying disco video. Since I was still in elementary during its heyday, I would have no idea what qualifies as a good disco song. "Good disco" sounds to me like a contradiction in terms.

I meant to review this for NBW last week, but didn't get around to it, I saw @TongoRad did a little while back but can't remember the week. So, why not on this gloomy rainy day.

Finally found some Radeberger Zwickelbier, 5% ABV


Pours with a perfectly appropriate haze for a Zwickel. Straw yellow in color. A dense white head forms with excellent retention and rings of lace left behind. This is a looker.
Aroma is citrus, lemon like zest and grassy hops. A bit of spiciness. Lingering baked bread like maltiness in the nose.
Taste follows the nose, and is relatively simple, with again plenty of citrus and lemon peel. Grassy with a peppery spice. Balanced by baked bread a cracker like malts. Wonderful lingering bitterness that brings everything together.
A light to medium body. Effervescent and crisp. Supremely clean and dry. Really easy to drink overall, and something I can and will come back to a lot.

This is just a simple and well made lager. Less is definitely more here, but everything works so well together. A great example of the style, and I will need to get more ASAP.
