    I just remembered that in the early 1980s I saw the band 'Speedway' featuring Fast Eddie Clarke from Motorhead. They were the support band for Iron Maiden or Ozzy. I can't fully recall. Hilarious!

    Excellent Red Ale from Nashville's Fat Bottom Brewing. Really, really good. Glad to see someone is still brewing this style for the half dozen of us who still enjoy it.

    Summit Brwg from MN has Horizon Red IPA that is truly great. I love it.

    Is it Friday yet? Sheez this week is dragging. Had this Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel in the back of the fridge. I love this style, but some how don't drink it that often. This bottle is a little on the aged side, but still enjoyable. Prost BA's!

    Soft, cloudy, golden yellow body sporting a thick and frothy white head initially, then it fades to a thinner version of itself. Bold citrus and tropical fruit smells; lemon, papaya and grapefruit; biscuit-like note in the background. Intense citrus rind flavor and bitterness; biscuit / cracker malt taste way in the background; boozy; Heavy body; acidic with a strong alcohol burn feel.

    Here is a beer I'd love to love, but it's over-the-top bitterness and booziness is too had to ignore.

    Canning info: LOVE NOT H8 04/22/21. Served at 60° F.

    Well I must say Akademia Brewing Co. crushed it with Parallax Project I. This is the first of a series and it is a hop bomb and a half. Lots going in this beer. Features Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, & Citra hops. Citrus, tropical fruit & a little dank all rolled into one. No hop burn, which I've gotten with a few like this. At 8.8% ABV look out! Cheers folks!

    I believe it was @champ103 who turned me on to Bill Evans. Watched a documentary on him a couple weekends ago, wow what a talented and tragic figure. Simply outstanding music.
