Change of plans today. Mega rain the last 2 days. Plants are taking off now.
Very humid today and my lawn is calling.
2 cups of powerful Columbian...and snap! It's Mow High Saturday!
Badger Snack Stout is the right thing today to start this 6 hr sweat journey. Wouldn't do it if I didn't love it! BTW this brewery is owned & operated by my old college buddy Mike. We made some homebrew a couple times. Great beers!

Hey BA's, and happy Saturday.....had an early start to the day (thanks Miss Emma at 5:30 am), so already did laundry - a 2 mile hike and cut my 1/3 acre grass - before 9:30 am....whew! Need to hydrate!


hope I make it to see Iceland in my retirement!

Round 2 of the NCAA lacrosse tournament is a matchup of schools that competed for the 2019 NCAA soccer championship (which UVa lost in PKs). Here's hoping the Hoos can get a little revenge against the nearby Hoyas in a different sport.

This dry, hoppy Pilsner from Hudson Valley will accompany me for the first half. I don't Feel No Way exists for UVa to lose, but they survived a 2-man down disadvantage to score the first goal.

 

Only been able to get Anchor Steam (which I really like) around here for quite some time now. So when I saw an Anchor variety 12 pack I was all over it. A hazy IPA to start a hopefully lazy day with. In a crushed(able) can to boot. Working too many hours for my old ass. I keep telling myself, retirement is only a year away.
