Here’s the next bottle release. The first 3 are 1st year Q4, the last one is a bonus bottle. Probably release at the same time.

I’m guessing almond suite will be the most hyped because it has the most adjuncts and side project involved.

To answer an earlier question, Brad had bottles of 10,000 steps available for pours when folks picked up the Q3 allocation. A sneak peak, if you will.

I know of a few members that have also had sneak peaks of all the Q4 bottles as well. They all loved the Q4 blends.

Any info on which highway the beers were trucked up? It helps identifying the terroir IMO

The label indicates it was brewed in Alameda, so presumably it traveled on I 80/880, which doesn't turn into 17 until Campbell/Los Gatos (grew up in Los Gatos and lived there for over 20 years, so I'm pretty sure this is accurate). Can't tell you how many times I've made the drive over the hill between the Santa Clara valley and Santa Cruz.

The 17 can be utterly terrifying at times.

True but 880/80 is so blah, give me the twisty, winding , woodsy and scenic 17. Sucks when’s there is traffic though.

If they are trucking it already in the barrels then its speeding up the aging like those whiskeys they age in barges

Easy decision to renew today. The best of the seven memberships I’ve over the last year or so.

Thoroughly enjoyed this years offerings. As someone who is more and more sugar-bomb/pastry stout adverse, some of the releases this year were exactly what I like in BBA stouts and BW. My favorites from the year by far were the ones with the fewest adjuncts! No-brainer to renew.

Is there a way to get on a waiting list for private press? I'd imagine there aren't many people dropping out?

It's already been a year since I woke up late and missed out on joining?

You used to be able to join the waiting list via the website, but I think that option was removed when the waitlist passed 800+ people. You could try emailing via the website, but I expect renewal levels will be high and Brad said he'd only be opening a few more spots for year 2.

IIRC they were gonna have things on tap at the portal occasionally for those not in membership

Brad officially announced in the FB group that the membership would be going from 600 to 700 members for year 2. Dunno if he's pulling from the waitlist or what, but I think renewals close this week so should be announced soonish.

I saw folks saying they got added, and they posted in the private PP FB group a week or more ago.
