Good morning BAs! Although the temp dropped overnight, I’m going with some juice to start the day - “Focal Banger”:



Canned 4/22/21. Poured at 54°. Cat pissy, oniony nose. Taste is light bitter grapefruit rind and tropical fruit. Taste is fine, I just don’t like how the mosaic plays with the citra - this aroma is exactly what I don’t want in my beer...more rain, and a high of 58° predicted; what a turnaround from a couple of days ago. Happy Saturday BA'S! Today is a special day at casa-da-fox as we celebrate our youngest daughter's graduation from U-Cal Long Beach with her master's degree. It's virtual but she'll be surrounded by friends at our home. Dogfish Head Slightly Mighty to start the day. A luau is today's theme.....

 

Back from the farmer’s market, now to kick off the beer. This hits the spot for this weather and time of year, really impressed with the fruited depth and botanical feel with plenty of funk and oak.

Cheers to your Daughter, that’s quite an accomplishment.

 

The official memorial celebration for @scream is going to be held beginning at noon on Saturday, 7/10/21, at 3 Sheeps Brewing's taproom. The location is right off of I-43, about 60 minutes north of Milwaukee, WI. A special tribute beer is being brewed for the occasion. Hopefully many of you can join us for the celebration!

 

Thank you Shanex! She spent two summers in Paris and London attending advanced schooling and very much loved the experience. Cheers!

 

Have a good holiday weekend. Job depression has been shit, but at least I have plenty of green. I will have to call more people back after things get moving again. A recruiter said that I have to wait to Thursday for correspondence about an interview at the moment, due to memorial day. So anyway the gf is at her parents for the weekend and I am working until Wednesday. So probably play some more guitar and video games in the meantime. I found some carrots and ranch and Transient in the crisper drawer. Been playing lichess puzzles pretty much daily lately.


Been a good week on metal. Tesseract was my antidepressant last night.
