This latest batch was pretty oniony. Try it cold, it's very good.

First beer, a cross post with NBW extended for three days due to the holiday.

Full review linked. Long story short, this is a solid full flavored Irish Stout, packed full of flavor including dark chocolate, roast malt, roast coffee and mint. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for setting up the @scream outing @GreenBayBA . Assuming I can get a reasonably priced rental, definitely will try to make the gathering. 3 Sheeps is a great brewery.

Brauerei Göller -- Original (German lager)

Exquisite looking beer; fairly clear, soft golden color; fantastic slow rising carbonation; huge, billowy white head, soft and sculpted with lots of sticky sheets of foam cloaking the glass. Fine warm bread smell infused with a bit of sweet esters. Bread crust and toasted grain flavor with a moderate hop bitterness throughout. Medium body; warm and semi-sweet overall.

This is a fine, well-rounded German lager. It's brewed with Hallertau "Tradition" hop variety.

No bottling date information; served at 53° F.

I would love to be there, but I doubt that'll happen. In any case, I hope you and his son and everyone else who's there have a great time with @scream's memorial bash. I'm sure we'll see some great pix and hear some interesting tales...

I am having trouble with every possible form of technology this week, which has culminated in me punching my toilet in the face. My hand is now swollen, so I am just going to sit here. I hope to watch the Milwaukee Bucks game, mow the lawn, and eat a sandwich today, but I am not counting on being able to do those things, for reasons I cannot even envision.

Opened an Opaque Thoughts Mango Lassi, hardly seems a Milkshake IPA, but certainly an absolutely delicious fruit beer.

This beer is good, but I would never spend money in it again, if I had the option to buy M-43. One of the things that happed this week, that really frogged my chicken, was trying to figure out which button I needed to press on HBO Max to get subtitles for Gommorah Season 4, an Italian-language, brilliant masterpiece, drama series. I must have been doing something wrong, because HBO Max would not have released an Italian-language show in the United States of America, and forget to include subtitles, would they? It turns out they did. And they don't know how to fix it.

Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery -- Postman (American pale ale)

    3.63/5 rDev -6.4%
    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Nice light to medium yellow body, mostly clear; good carbonation; respectable head. Floral and fruity aroma; pear and peaches. Mild malt flavor; cereal grain; light hop bitterness. Generally light body weight; mild warmth on the palate; dry throughout.

I wrestled with bumping up the overall score because of the beer's age, but figure that with even 2 1/2 months of age, it should still retain some freshness dynamics. I gave the beer (and the brewery) the benefit of a doubt and upped my overall a tad. Well, I can hope that at some point I can sample a fresher version. My bottom-line, it's still a decent pale ale, just a bit flat and unexciting.

Poured at 61° F. Bottom of can info: JUST SEND IT 03/09/21.
