Happy weekend, BA. Weather here is absolute poop so not doing anything outside.
We’ve decided to do some painting instead, so I’m having a Jack’s Abby House Bier to keep hydrated.

Gonna stick with a German beer as the Cavaliers try to stick to it and pull out a win. They dominated the second half but UNC has looked a little better the other two and to start the fourth.


A goal on this possession would go a long way. Then again, I’ve said that 3 different times during this game already.

 

At Bull n Bear Brewery drinking Cali Common Stock an excellent California Common Beer. This a my favorite new beer for 2021 and it’s not even close.

 

So Thing 1 & Thing 2 de ided to road trip it up to Binghamton, NY for the day. Spending part of the afternoon supporting our local brewery here in Allentown - McCall Collective, they do a great job here. Started out with a flight...



... and now? Threehigh Triple IPA, pretty fantastic! ...

Schilling LANDBIER



From a pint can marked 032221.

Poured into my pilsener glass this lager has a clear straw gold body with a creamy white head. Good retention and foamy lace.

Scent is biscuit, doughy bread, lemon, apples and leafy green hops.

Taste is bright and crisp with lemon , bread crust and a mild hop bitterness. Some light stone fruit in the background and I'm not quite certain if it is the power of suggestion or not but I do detect a strawberry note.

Mouth is creamy but light with a relatively crisp dry finish.

Beautifully crafted rustic lager with a subtle and refreshing flavor profile. I could drink these quite often.
