    It's open, it's great!

Had Palo Verde, Muntz, Wild Child, and Wizards Wand. Loved them all. It was great being there again with the soul of the place back. Pat, Val, and Shawn all walking around. Shawn's wife and baby chilling by the merch locker.

I love what they did with Muntz. That Nectaron hop I think made the rest of the recipe even nicer.

I am sure all San Diegan's who loved Alpine will be there soon, curious what everyone thinks!

Looks like growlers fills for sure. Did you notice if they have cans or crowlers to go? I just threw all of my growlers out. Except for one 32oz & one 64oz Alpine growler (for old time sake). Wonder if I brought them they'd fill em? Doubt it.

Crowlers and growlers. No cans. They will fill other growlers. They charge $10 for theirs, standard 64oz glass.

Thanks for the heads up, @backwash. Thought the photo posted in the other thread was photoshopped. Lol.

I’ll be in the area this weekend and hoping to swing by.

Thought it might have been some April Fools Joke. Good to see the McIlhenney family has a good sense of humor about it.

Took public transport there from OC today to avoid driving that dreadful I-5. FlixBus from Anaheim to Old Town SD, then green line to El Cajon Station, then bus 864 & 838.
Many people there today but enough seating for everyone outdoor and indoor. Muntz & Wizard Wands were the highlights, Wild Child was bit too "flowery" taste for me.

Made the trip from South OC... I was expecting too much from Muntz. I of course wanted OG Nelson and it was nothing like it - lots of dead grass. I also tried the other two IPA’s - Wizards Wand and Wild Wild Child - just ok. Nothing really stood out. Great vibes though on the patio. Said what up to Pat. No food unfortunately. Wanted to smash some fried pickle chips. I’m still excited to see what comes out of here though.

Would love to hear other people's opinion on Muntz. Overall, I like it. But I wouldn’t call it World Class:
