My nephew turns 21 today. Although he stayed over the last two nights, I did not introduce him to the joys of AM drinking. I did ask him to send me a picture of his first beer when he goes to the Tilted Kilt with his family later today.

 

I’m drinking my last can of Maibock on the last day of May. It’s turned into a beautiful afternoon after three straight washouts. Cheers, all!

The rest of the family was meeting up with my nephew’s family so they could all go minigolfing for his birthday. I am staying home and prepping the garden and having a beer or two. Happy with the choice I made.

I remember my first legal beer on my 21st. My dad took me to a local watering hole and we got a couple of Buds on draught. About half way through our beers there's a fight at the bar and we end up leaving and going home. Hope your nephew has a less violent 21st. HBD to him!

 

In my glass now is Sour Monkey from Victory. It's supposed to be a sour tripel. And I get the sour, but I don't get the tripel. Whatever, it's good for what it is.

We have a huge flag in the window today and are remembering and honoring the service of our fathers and grandfathers. The one who encountered the greatest peril was a merchant marine officer, twice on ships sunk during WWII

I am able to enjoy this slightly sour IPA, Dual Spectrum from Finback. The battle is the NCAA Div I lacrosse championship. -great match-up and a great game ( lacrosse). Cheers
