Just to clarify, this is a new brewery in Alpine, but being started by the former founder/brewer of Alpine Brewing?

A friend brought crowlers of Muntz and Wizard's Wand to a get-together yesterday. Both were outstanding. Muntz was a tiny bit thin on the mouthfeel but otherwise smelled and tasted an awful lot like OG Nelson.

I enjoyed everything I tried (you all are sleeping on the pale ale) but it's a new system installed there so it will take some time for Shawn to get things dialed in.

There is no tasting room in the brewery. The space is used by fermenters now. Tasting room sits in the former brewpub.

No restaurant. No bookstore. No worries.
Planning to get some Mexican nearby North Park before driving east to Alpine.

There’s a lil Mexican restaurant a stones throw down the way from Mchilhenney. Big tacos and good for the time being.

Great to see these guys back at it and in the original location to boot! Good for them. Look forward to trying to get my paws on some in the future.

For those that want to try but the drive to Alpine is still too much for them.. O'Brien's put on 6 different kegs this past weekend.
