I'm proud to wear the title (s), beer nerd, beer snob, and, or, well educated beer enthusiast!

To each his/her own opinion but I have never felt that way. Ive met more friends here than I have in my regular daily life. Even started jamming with a guitar player I met here. Never have seen anyone put down for their opinion on a beer - unless its tongue in cheek. Dont see anyone being rude or chasing people off of this thread. Not afraid of speaking my mind as well and having a difference of opinion. One thing I do appreciate is we dont talk about politics here. There are plenty of other places to do that. If someone starts discussing those issues in most cases someone will remind them this isnt the place, but it rarely happens because we respect each other. We talk about beer, our families, and our day to day activities over beers and our love of this malt beverage. We have had people that have contributed here pass away and honor them to this day. As far a censorship yes, sexism, racism and belittling are not tolerated. As well as posting seltzers, ciders and other non malt based beverages. I dont have a problem with that. All that said glad to see youre here stll rating your beers. Im still here on NBS, WBAYDN with my fam. Cheers.

    Ha! I'm a LeaveStayer.

I am likewise invested in terms of my Reviews, Pics, et al, but I am no longer married to this site.

When I beCAN, it was b/c it was the only way to keep track of CANsumed beers, requiring a (thoghtful) review, vice RateBeer. I used this site pre-Couchsurfing.com as a means to visit many places during the three-year Woody Him Forward tour to great success.

I also launched The CANQuest (tm) on here, well before craft beer in CANs had hit its prime.

I was an early BeerFly Guide (BFG) - a version of an unpaid moderator & got my fair share of nonsense from the Bros before it was
    disestablished.

This site has steadily devolved for my use for a while, beginning with NBS, rigid site naming standards & finally, non-responsive Mods.

I have had enough & now choose to only provide updates & pics here while using sister site, Untappd, to a better end,

BA was good for a long time, but no longer. Thanks for everything in the past, but the future is Untappd.(or elsewhere).

Miss your contributions here. I CAN see and appreciate your prospective. I don’t have the same history in the site in terms of length or contributions, so understand you come with a different perspective. I do appreciate this forum, and the positive aspects which currently exist, including many thoughtful people who continue to participate.

I don’t use untapped beyond checking a venue’s beer list if they use it.

Dude, how many beer pics did you add to the beers' pages on Untappd? I bet you it's zero

    And...raspberries >strawberries.

That's part of the reason but there's some beer travel in my foreseeable future.

With somewhat limited local stocks I've simply run out of new beers to review.

Your generous offer is deeply appreciated but I would feel bad about not having anything to send in return.
