Splitting another beer from de Garde. A wild ale aged in oak barrels for two years with cherries. Quite good. Damn. Hopefully you can see the more detailed description. Peace...

Clean lager character, melanoidins, firm bitterness - proper German brewing.

Afternoon, advocates! Neither of my last two beers really worked that perfectly for me, so I'll go with something classic, classy, and reliable next.

@Whyteboar yes sir! Big and stressful day, but we're about 15 minutes away from sealing the deal! Granted, I'm in GA, the home is in CT, and the closing is in RI - so, normal for my life. Very, very excited, and I can't wait for the movers to get started on Monday so that I'm one step closer.

One last pour (6 oz) at de Garde. Splitting with the gf as she decides what wild ales to take home. This is a hoppy lager from Holy Mountain called Awake Limbs. Cheers!

[IMG] I did come home and slam a Coors Light before I hit the shower, so this isn’t technically my first one but we will call it my first good one. It is fruity and sweet and tart and smooth but still nothing touches that prickly pear Deep Depths smoothie I had from Homes.

Wasn't feeling an early morning beer, so here I am now. This beer on sale ($1.80 a can w/ tax), 2 months old but refrigerated at the store. Enjoying this one, so returning for the rest when the sun goes down a bit. Glad since I haven't had this one since pre COVID, when my local bar stopped carrying the Revolution / Half Acre specials.

Found this at the Kroger. Passed it up. Backtracked and grabbed it. It was the last. Had the Xperimental which I haven't seen yet and it's damn tasty beer.
