Dude, Hazy Little Thing is my best off the shielf IPA. Living in Richmond, Virginia I have access to some of the best breweries in the country.. That said, I would buy Hazy Little Thing just as fast as the IPAs released here.

At home after a long travel day, followed by unpacking my gear in sweltering humid heat, followed by a most enjoyable evening of beer drinking with old, and new friends...now settling in with an old stand by - BBA Narwhal:



Canned 9/18/20. Poured at 53°. I will likely hit the hay when I finish this 11.9% beauty!

Earlier this evening, I met a new BA friend - @HorseheadsHophead at Green Bench Brewery for a beer, then we walked a couple of blocks east with his brother and friend to sample the bourbon barrel aged goodness that is on tap at Cycle Brewing:



I’m drinking a Presta pils and a Friday (2021) BBA Imperial Stout with coconut, hazelnut and cinnamon, and Austin is drinking a pour of original Rare Dos BA Scooop! Cheers gang, it’s Friday!

 

bought today at the brewery. I believe still batch 11.
This is blowing my mind. Somehow clean and citrusy with yogurty funk and deeper oak and vanilla. Simultaneously full bodied but not thick.
I heard this was similar to HF Art and I believe it.
Can’t really imagine a better saison at this point in time. Holy shit.
