Did not enjoy Very Ggggreen much. Musty farts and very yeasty.

Very Hazy was very good and better than the previous couple of times I've had it.

TIL that people eat yeast farts.

You’re clearly not among the 50+ set.

Had VGgg last night and it was pretty good. I tend to enjoy the base beers more though, especially if I’m having multiple. The supped up versions are so intense that it’s like having a big stout; tastes great but you usually don’t crack another one right after.

I’m not an expert on Witbier, but I’m drinking a Surfcaster now and it’s great. Their lagers are now must buys for me when I go, just like Fox Farm.

The Czech pils is a success for me. Maybe a bit hoppy for some but I like a decent hit of grassiness in my pilsners.

I liked the oak aged helles a lot too.

They maybe aren't quite on par with fox farm or notch, but their lagers are strong enough to make the occasional trip worth it. I just am not interested in a case full of DIPAs these days so it's nice to be able to round out a case with some very nice lagers.

i know, out of everything I bought, only 12 cans were IPAs. The majority were stouts

i wonder if they're intentionally holding back on low ABV pale ales to push their lagers this summer. its been 90s all weekend and you can't get a PA under 6.8%. Bring Back Baby Bright!

Is South Greenfield open for pours yet? I'm planning a Western Mass beercation in August and I cannot figure out if South Greenfield is just selling cans or also doing pours. I'd love to hang there and have a few pops with my guys if that's an option.

I'm firmly with you in camp APA. Especially this time of year, give me Lights On, East Hill, Lights Out and Eureka (I know it's a blonde but you can lump it in with the APAs really) over almost any of the DIPAs.

I haven't seen anything to indicate they are open for drinking on site/pours in Western MA. Doesn't mean they won't be open for it come August though. Keep an eye out on their website as they are *generally* good with updating the operations.

So Tree of Life - blended is ridiculously good. Only $5.80 per bottle and it's just as good as any barrel aged barleywine I've had.

When I ordered it on the site, it was just listed as Tree of Life, so I thought it was just a base American Barleywine. I was pleasantly surprised to read that it was the blended version.

Surprised that we haven’t seen a single post about a person’s visit to Deerfield or Sandwich, unless I missed it.

I ordered a pickup on Friday in Sandwich as it's a shorter drive for me than Charlton (assuming no traffic). It was a bit of a wait when I got there as they seem to be figuring things out, but I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. It's worth noting there is not a lot of parking at this new spot - maybe 100 spaces, and that might be generous (?) - which has a great location overlooking the ocean. Will be interesting to see how they navigate opening for onsite pours if/when that happens.

Thanks, wasn't on the Sandwich page, but found it under FAQs. Will be heading to the Cape in a couple weeks and will try to swing by. Very cool
