How much of an upcharge was it for the custom glass?

I’m a big fan of the beer, the venue, and the people, but man Tree House really likes to make things confusing and not communicate. Many repetitive questions on Twitter and Facebook... “do I buy pours before I arrive or can I buy them there”... “do I have to order my cans online in advance?”.... I wish they would just spell it out clearly

@Hazentinus they did a nice job explaining the process on their website; maybe they just need to link to social media?

It was cost $18 for the glass with a pour. A regular draft ticket was $8.
I was debating whether to have just one beer onsite, and wanted it to be something special…..couldn’t resist the second pour after the trail!

Was just by the Deerfield campus for a pickup this afternoon. In and out in less than five minutes.

Asked about on-site pours and one of the employees said there's a lot of local permitting still to be done and that they were hoping "by the holidays" which I took to mean the end of the year.

I had my second of my 4 Jjjjuice Projects. Much much better. Lot of clean clean clementine type flavors coming through. I really enjoyed it. *shrug*

    I think it's two things:

    1. not that this is "freshly" canned but these overhopped bombs I think do well with a bit of age on them. I think it's hitting the 3 week mark now. I'm sitting on my very ggggreens for a while due to this.
    2. I need an almost perfectly clean palate with these juicy beers. If there's anything even slightly off, it ends up tasting like generic hop mush to me.

I really love these oak-aged 6pk lagers. Trailbreaker is really fantastic.

Yes definitely. Their info also seems scattered across the website.

I don't know why, but the existence of these repetitive questions on facebook/twitter drive me crazy:

"sorry if this has been asked. Do pour tickets count towards the $65 limit if purchased in advance?"
"How do we get the new glass? I don't see it or pour tickets for Charlton online?"

Has anyone tried the Tarts lately? I was disappointed when they first came out but haven't revisited since. Just wondering if there have been any positive tweaks in the base recipe

Question about the CURRENT Triple Shot being offered at the brewery…is it the Triple Shot “house blend” or a regular triple shot.

I noticed the house blend is 9.7% and 16.9oz (I think) but the description of bottle currently for sale says 9% 16 oz. I also know last time it was for sale Treehouse mentioned “house blend” in the description, whereas the description of the current bottle mentions nothing about that. Just trying to clarify thanks!

I would imagine it’s NOT the house blend if not specified, but can’t be sure. I’ve seen some stouts with a designated “TH Coffee company” logo on the side indicating it’s their own coffee in it
I can see a future where all of the coffee in their stouts is from their house blend (or own supply of coffee) but they probably don’t have the resources yet.

Didn’t end up going. Drinking Haze now, though (12oz 5/26) and it’s not tasting that great. Hopefully the batch of Very Hazy is to the usual standard.

First IPA I’ve had from them in a while that was a disappointment. Hopefully just a bad can.

    Jjj up next

I'm going out on a limb and saying they currently have the resources. They are making their own coffee liqueur, had four unique beans and two separate canned iced coffees available today. I'm gonna have to say they have enough bean to put in their own coffee stouts

So is it true that at the Charlton location you are limited to two in-house pours after which you're on your way?

You don’t have to leave after your two pours, but you are limited to two.

That's crazy to me. I've been there a couple times, but was never able to stay long enough for that limit to impact me. But a few of us were looking at taking a road trip this summer but if we can only get 2 pours it's probably not worth it. What is the logic behind that anyway? Are they just trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible since so many people come through? The place is HUGE. I don't understand why they put so much money into a "campus" like that and barely use it.
