I feel like there's a few of us that need to meet there for a beer. Did I mention how much I love Gates of the West?

 

Need to come visit the taproom soon. Did Salem drop the mask mandate yet?

I was surprised how many places dropped everything so quickly. Notch was always one of the more careful ones, so I wouldn't have blamed them if they didn't.

And I'm all for everywhere dropping all mandates, I was just surprised. I'm in the Somerville/Cambridge area and since the mandates were dropped I've encountered only ONE place that required a mask...Subway of all places. Random huh?

 

Subway should always require masks, can't have diseases jumping from their meat to humans.

 

I know Brave Noise cans will be released tomorrow, but the Notch website currently lists ZERO cans available for takeaway. Or maybe they just need to update the website?

Got my BOTM tracking # email yesterday, label created, no UPS info yet so I am assuming my package will ship today to arrive Friday.

Huge F word. I thought I had another month on my subscription (I legit told my wife that I was going to re-up strictly because of the Rat Magnet situation). Living vicariously through you all who are getting a box this week.

In my delivery today: Brave Noise, 11th Anniversary Beer and 2 bottles of the Hefe Weisse

So jealous, UPS failed to deliver mine today. I was home all day, no not a missed delivery. Some time around 3pm my shipping info went from “delivery by 7pm” to “check tomorrow for delivery time”. I hope it’s just delayed and not busted.

Can I ask about the # of cans and bottles in the package? We are paying for, and I’m expecting, 12 cans/bottles. Your description looks like 2 four packs and 2 bottles of hefe.

Also, why did they bottle the hefe, when they have put it in cans previously? I mean, it’s cool to have half liter bottles and all, but paying a premium for it? No thanks.

 

Planning on going today for a couple of pours. I'm not sure what to expect for on-site availability. I don't think their website accurately reflects what is pouring, or maybe I'm wrong. If it's accurate, they've got 6 or 7 hoppy offerings. This is disappointing, but I'll be fine.
