The Jacks Abby Pride & Parquet (Celtics beer) is pretty nice for this exact purpose. Also the newer hoppy lagers that OEC is putting out have been great.

Been really digging the Zero Gravity variety 12pack x 12oz.

Both Little Wolf and Green State clock in at under 5%abv and Conehead is under 6%.

Madonna doesn't fit your bill, but is a deliciously bitter 8%er.

Price is good too. $16 or so for the 12pack.

Consider going the hoppy lager route and take a look at the Jacks Abby mixed packs. All of the Brau series and the stronger Rising series are great hot weather beverages.

I was pleasantly surprised by this and a few of their other offerings. I get a little bit of this vegetal/iced tea flavor on everything they make but it seems to dissipate fairly quickly.

I agree. That’s a great mix 12. Bought it last weekend knowing that I love every beer in there and like you said great price.

The price point on those OEC brews are a deterrent for me, tho.

    Agree.

What do people think of the Kolsch in the mix-12 which replaced the Dunkel (probably the least favorite of mine)? Can't claim to be an expert on the style or VT's authenticity, but a nice easy drinker with a clean finish. Of course the Helles Pils and Vienna are all nice summer drinkers too.

Dunkel is my favorite, Kolsch is the least favorite. Wish they didn't change it.

Probably my favorite sub 5% beer. I usually get multiple 4 packs when they release it.

Counterweight currently has cans of Hand Off.

Hoppy Blonde brewed with Strata and Riwaka...5.4%

Picked up more yesterday. I recommend.

Framewerk cans too. Delicious lager at only 3.8%.

Really wish FH was available here. Good price point/quality. Are they dating their cans yet??

I like the addition of the kolsch for the summer, but hope they bring back the dunkel fir colder months.

I brought a 12pk to a mates yesterday and it was gone in the blink of an eye. Gonna be a popular one these next few months
