Got the P3 barleywine but struck out on Shaun's last MORE collab. I'm excited to put this up against VSOJ when it's released.

Struck out on both. My Oznr luck as of late has dwindled. Last one I think I won was Rada/Minutiae. I won’t count the PB/coconut cuppa from Maplewood cuz that sucked. I don’t call that a win

Had one not too long ago. Wouldn't recommend it. Must be contract baking them or something. Also, my kids picked out Twinkies with cotton candy flavored cream inside recently. Wouldn't recommend that either.

Not surprising. The quality of everything has gone down. Prices go up and food places always find some way of adding a different filler to keep the price
The same. I wouldn’t be surprised if the main ingredient in half our food was reformulated garbage pulp at this point.

I say this as someone who ate a lot of them a few decades back, but were zingers really ever "good?" If they've dropped off I hate to think what they taste like now.

Ooh, this has taken an interesting turn. You can see the pandemic’s influence as we have pivoted from social eateries of pizza and burger joints to the more isolated lunch box snacks.

stop it. I’ve seen your end goal for years, and now you’ve tipped your hand to everyone else.

you’re leading us down this road where we will invariably find ourselves in 7 years with a Mikerphone / Hitachino collab rice lager adjuncted with a bento box.

Yeah, the first thing I always think after I bite into a Twinkie is "man, I wish this was sweeter."

EDIT: Also, I agree on the Zingers. They do not taste the same as they used to. It's not contract baking though, Dolly Madison doesn't exist any more. Hostess bought them ~10 years ago and then closed down the business altogether. The conglomerate that owns Hostess "revived" Zingers a few years ago, but it clearly isn't the same product. It's just a Hostess cake with the Zingers label slapped on. I know way too much about this, BTW.

You've foiled my plan again Mr. Bond, but you left out one minor detail. I also planned for the beer to be a Ben and Jerry's collab with a solid fudge core in the middle.

Tasted nothing but grapes and raisins with a little fig and vanilla yesterday with the sample P3 gave me when they allowed me to wax my own bottle of Arabesque on site. Smooth, very smooth heat. Awesome experience along with an amazing beer.
    Almost Willy-Wonka-esque?

The Timber/P3 stout collab is around and pretty damn good. Little bitterness on the back end but the strawberry is well done

PSA: Kuma's Corner (OG location) is having a Phase Three tap takeover tonight. Several different beers, including Pressed, Double Nectar, LULZ, Sprudel, Interconnected Data, and "limited bottle pours of secret Phase Three beers," which I assume means stouts and/or barleywines.

Looks like curvature batch 9 is Neapolitan based on the check ins at open bottles anniversary party
