Cutting Back

    :grin:That’s pretty much the size of it. Hard to stop at one when you maintain a fridge full of at least 5 beers you haven’t tried.

    Find myself in your post. I started with not drinking whisky at all, note, during weekends. Found myself thinking about the stuff. Think one of the game changers was when seeing a poster's whisky ROOM full of bottles, and realizing I couldn't handle that. So quit. Haven't had that problem with NA beer...

    Having my first beer in a bit. Feeling a light buzz half way through. Since I work nights this weekend I’m ok to have a few tonight and Saturday after work. Then I’m back to no beer all week and I work 6am next weekend so probably only 1 next weekend. Still waiting for the better sleep to happen, sleep like shit, partially due to early and late working hours. Harder than not having a beer is not having sugar. The sugar has a grip on me that I can’t seem to shake. It literally talks to me, the beers do not.

    I usually drink like 1-2 a night and call it quits but, I don't find it nearly as enjoyable when I'm basically doing it just to pass the time until bed. I think I'm gonna try to cut back to maybe 2-3 nights a week and only buy stuff I know will taste absolutely delicious when it's time to drink.
