What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3164

Seedz I’ll Have a Rip of That dry-hopped Raw Nordic Ale at the source. This brewery brews lager and other obscure styles of beer and they do it really, really well. This beer is unlike anything I’ve ever had. A summer crusher for sure.

The beer description per the brewery:
This is a 5.3% DH Raw Nordic Ale- this is a collaboration with Transient and @fermentingatlife. The malt used is from @sugarcreekmaltco Wind Malt, Spelt and einkorn with @granorfarm raw corn and rye. We didn’t boil this beer to make sure the grains stay in their true form. Before, we added it to our @foedercrafters we added some raw honey! This is DH with Michigan Cashmere and chinook!

Post lunch beer while watching the Open - “Master of Fists” by Magnanimous Brewing:



A pineapple and coconut hazy DIPA. Not too sweet, it tastes like a beer piña colada. I like!

 

Slow threads today, peeps.....let's get those brews in those glasses, come on!

ScreamFest is shaping up wonderfully, but I would like way more people from Illinois to RSVP. Barrel-aged beers will be prevalent. Our group will be allowed to bring beers to share, and we have the VIP area. Nate's son is the head brewer at 3 Sheeps Brewing, so he can dig deep into their cellar. There will be more whales shared amongst our group than there are in the ocean.

 

Enjoying a Riot Down Undah from Prison City Brewing in Auburn, NY. Nice blend of Southern Hemisphere hops with Northern grains: fruity, slightly herbal, and malty.

We’re at Glenmere Brewing in Florida, NY (birthplace of William Seward). I’m drinking Lucid Dragon, a WCIPA. While it isn’t much to look at, it’s really well done! Solid malty backbone, bitter grapefruit rind, and jist a kiss of tangerine. This is solid. I’m impressed. Cheers!

 

With all due respect, I would like to decline game 7 basketball vibes from Massachusetts. Horrible memories, and situations from before I was born, are the reason why.
