Good morning beer lovers! Somewhat of a let down the day after Summer Solstice, as the days begin to get shorter, though thankfully it is mostly nice (at least this far North). Don't recall any Southern Hemisphere BAs on this thread, but they have better days ahead as they grind through Winter.

    Haymarket Chicago Tavern Beer

This is a nice and easy morning lager, brewed by one of the OG Chicago Brewers still in business.
    • 1988 Goose Island (Clybourn Brewpub)
    • 1994 Rock Bottom (State and Grand - I believe that is the year they opened)
    • 2001 Piece Brewery & Pizzeria (North just off of Damen / Milwaukee)
    • 2008 Metropolitan Brewery (Current location near Lane Tech HS opened in 2017)
    • 2009 Half Acre (The year their Lincoln Brewery opened)
    • 2010 Revolution Brewery (Milwaukee west of California)
    • 2010 Haymarket Brewery (Randolph and Halsted)
May come back with one more later. Have a great day!

Two for Tuesday, 1980 edition. Nice and easy accompaniment!

Good day BAs and thanks, @SawDog505, for starting today's thread. Off to another typical summer day here in NW PA - cold, overcast, and probably going to rain yet again. Today's New Breakfast Beer, ninja'd to me by @Roy_Hobbs:

Good morning, BAs! Spending the day getting work done around the house and paying bills, so that means that it's time for the breakfast of champions.

Zeeks Pizza always has a good selection. This hazy IIPA from Fremont, always a good choice.

A little NA Untitled Art number after an 8+ mile run (including 20 mins of pure tempo pace pain).
Forgive the recycled photo but it's just a chocolate beer-soda after all.
    Cheers!

I know I'm in the right place if I see @SawDog505 and a beer. Thanks, Tim, for getting WBAYDN started.
I took a day off from beer yesterday, but am resuming consumption today. I am drinking a Massachusetts beer, Standing Ovation, from Progression Brewing. It is a very nice NEIIPA.
    Have a great Tuesday, BAs!

    Good evening from afar,
after an after-work shower, I put this excellent Belgian Strong Ale in the fridge, which maintains the main characteristics of the style, achieving an extraordinary degree of drinkability for this style of beer.
I read here and there ... of important countries on the brewing scene ... without intervening I just say that, for the quality of the final product in reference to the style it was inspired by, this would be one of the beers of my Country that I would absolutely taste to those who have not had the opportunity to fully test our quality handcrafted products.

Birrificio Menaresta (ITA) - I.F.A. (India Figueira Ale) - Belgian Strong Ale (10%)

Warm and spicy notes on the nose.
Intense blond color, not completely transparent.
Soft and compact foam that gradually dims without ever disappearing.
In the mouth, the extraordinary effectiveness of prickly pear makes a 10% beer very drinkable even on June 22nd.
Warm, spicy beer, full-bodied but with notes of malt (candied fruit, panettone - Christmas cake) which are greatly facilitated in their "heaviness" by a Juicy sensation given by the prickly pears used.
On the tongue, although the taste of prickly pears is well recognizable, it almost seems to have the typical sensation of the small seeds of the fruit.
Although not a crazy-lover of style, I believe that this work is a positive spot for our brewing school which, like much of our cuisine, focuses on typical products favored by our Mediterranean climate.
