What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3168

I don't know about you, but when I am having trouble falling asleep, I plan beer lineups for special occasions. I knew what my first beer would be today for a long time, but the 2nd one was up for debate. Then I acquired a collaboration NEIIPA from the two best NEIPA brewers in the middle of the country. I was so excited! Unfortunately, this beer is lesser than the sum of its parts. Toppling Goliath Brewing and Hop Butcher for the World Brewery were probably trying to save their best stuff for themselves. But, like Kayne West has been telling me, year after year, at Club 1977 meetings; "It's your birthday, you deserve a minage!"

Yup the point system is confusing. If you just check in with every place or beer and say nothing about the beer you can rack up a bunch, but we who are posting every day and rolling out pages on threads creep along earning very little. @Ocalafox will be the next after you of the WBAYDNs to finally earn his spot.

Just the one today, but a good one. Ommegang Three Philosophers. It's "a blend of quadrupel ale and Belgian kreik ale with cherries". This is Wifey's all time favorite beer, so we might be sharing it at different than a 50-50 ratio.
