First year 4 release is a collab with the band of mice and men

Horus “Feels Like Forever” Bottle Release for Club Members

“Feels Like Forever” is an Imperial Stout weighing in at 12.2% ABV. This collaboration is with the talented musicians, Of Mice and Men, and the beer is named after my favorite song of theirs. This Imperial Stout was boiled for 8 hours and features freeze dried strawberries and a light sprinkling of toasted coconut.

Sounds like a lot of people are passing

Why doesn’t kyle sell these big ticket items on his website if members are allotted 1 already and save everyone $30ish in eventbrite fees

Anybody try any of the barleywines yet? Mine are in the way. Would be a bummer if they were mediocre

Dont forget tax and the eventbrite fees! He needs to just sell to us members directly. I really dont get it.

Another release I have to skip.....way to expensive but the beers do sound awesome. Im sure if he sold the bottles individually, it would still sell out.

These package deals have got to go. Why not sell things solo? That gives us more transparency on the individual pricing of the bottles and let’s us choose what we want and don’t want. That how it’s been for years. If this package deal BS keeps happening I will not be renewing for year 5, and I’ve been in since year 1. Just seems shady to me.

What transparency do you need in his bottle pricing? All bottles are either 1) overly expensive and not worth the price for non-BA beers; or 2) ridiculously overly expensive and not worth the price for a BA beer.

I think sets like this are stupid as well, but I’m guessing people are less willing to shell out so much money for his non-BA stuff, so he has to bundle them with the BA stuff to get them sold. While he does an occasional stellar beer (Tier Zero!), you can get beers that are as good or better at half the price at dozens of other breweries. Just wait until he has a cellar sale to buy individual bottles instead of doing the set thing if you really want a bottle.
