Good morning Beer Advocates, or good afternoon or evening for those reading this later in the day.

Starting out with a nice DIPA from one of my favorite local breweries.

    Spiteful Brewing Bitter Biker

Apparently the city feels it's a good time to run a saw on trees before 7 AM (background). Hopefully it's a trim and not a complete knock down, which they have been doing around here.

Going to water the lawn before the possible rain later today, than head to Caputo's. If the rain holds off, maybe a trip to the new brewery here I didn't make yesterday.

    Happy Birthday to Jeff Beck!

[IMG] Poured into a 16 Snulip glass canned on 6/21/21. Pours a hazy yellow with a half finger sticky white that leaves thin wisps of lace with nice retention. 4.25

Aroma is passionfruit, mango, blueberry, peach, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows passionfruit, mango, peach, blueberry, and apricot. 4.5

Mouthfeel is medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry or sticky, and at 7.5% it goes down very easy. 4.25

Overall I really like this beer, would gladly drink this all summer long. For us hop junkies this at 7.5% is fairly light in body, but gives you that big hop flavor without filling you up. Excellent stuff. 4.25 Cheers all.

Good day advocates and thanks @ChicagoJ for taking the time as usual to kick things off with a well inspired post…

It’s almost 3PM here and I just got back from visiting the Mont Saint Michel, which is in Normandy but right next to Britanny. Two regions that hold a special place in my heart.

    Lagunitas IPA…

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for starting today's thread! Thus far, a sunny day. Today's New Breakfast Beer courtesy of a ninja strike from @Roy_Hobbs:

A rather clean saison - more lemon than funk with really soft but lively carbonation. Nice 3.47, rDev -13%.

These pictures are great! I've never seen the Mont Saint Michel. It'll definitely be on the list of places my wife and I visit whenever we get to France.

    Howdy, and bonjour!
Predictable morning N/A post after my 8.5+ mile trail run... trying to get a bunch in before our road trip to Utah/western Colorado coming up (and thus I'll be scarce here).
Hope everyone is doing fine this day, and nice pics of Mont-Saint-Michel @Shanex - a magical place there, still remember doing the walk across the sandy bay with a monk who led us across patches knowing where quicksand awaited unfortunate souls.... the speed of the tide out there was also damn impressive... thanks for sharing, took me back a few decades to childhood in Normandy.

    Cheers!

Lunch with Bud and perhaps Bud desert. I can do that because today is a holiday. That's right, when you're retired every day is a holiday.

Wifey & I are sharing a 750 ml Tired Hands Raspberrison. It's full of raspberries, tartness and a saison funkiness. Really nice one.

If you land at Paris CDG, like most every Americans, Normandy is roughly three hours a drive west. Would recommend renting a car and the GPS nowadays shouldn’t get you lost. Even if does there’s something cool about it. As the Mont Saint Michel is closer to Britanny, you’d need more like roughly four hours to reach it.

There’s always the possibility to rent and book a place here, ideally in spring as in the summer, it’s totally crowded and packed.

Cheers @eppCOS my pleasure for this “throwback Thursday” fellow frenchie in exile
