So... are we all falling into the "fat, drunk, and stupid category?" :grimacing::wink:

Congratulations! I'm creeping, ever slowly, closer; hopefully not too much longer.

Congratulations! It's a long and winding trail paved by hundreds of beers of yesteryear.

I just learned recently at the Flying Saucers, after 200 beers you get a "plate" with your name on it.

I thought about joining the club long ago but it's a trek to Ft.Worth to drink beer. So it's still a special occasion to go there and always worth it because of the selection. Drinking and driving is a treacherous endeavor in this authoritarian state. The risk outweighs the reward.
I'd be working on my 4th plate now if they honored Beer Advocate statistics. I've also got friends all over this country I've met via WBAYDN that I otherwise wouldn't have. I guess that makes me the winner. God Bless you all! CHEERS!

I just made it a couple of months ago, still waiting for my hat. Congrats to you, for me it's been a lot of laughs, great conversations, great advice, a few meet ups, and unfortunately some sadness. It's a great community . Cheers.

I got banned from taking beer pics in public. I have to go stealth mode.

The problem with his role in Animal House, is that it defines him now. Even when I see him role playing a fat, bigoted cop in Killer Klowns from Outer Space, all I see is Dean Wormer getting offed by a cannibalistic clown (which at least in Killer Klowns, is not such a bad thing).

John Vernon. I still love his performance (albeit a small one) in The Outlaw Josey Wales as Fletcher. Just some great characterization -- don't see Wormer at all.

He's also great as the mayor in Dirty Harry.

To me, his more serious roles made Wormer that much more fun.

Forgot about Dirty Harry. Just a small role, I know, but he was great as the mayor.

Whatever happened to Mark Metcalf (Neidermeyer)? I would bet that he became typecast as well. Playing an archetypical character always seems somewhat risky. Oh, I'm currently drinking a Sweetwater 420. Cheers.

    Congratulations my friend.

Once you reach Poo-bah status @Todd requires you to review 5 beers a week, otherwise you lose it.

I just assumed he changed his name to Steve Miller and moved to the top of the food chain in the previous administration. So I guess he's doing pretty well?

Oh, and I'm currently drinking an Orange Zest Belgian golden ale from pFriem. Nice beer, though I've been told that it can sometimes have some mind altering qualities. Not that I've ever noticed any of course.

@superspak just knocked on my front door. He taught me the Pooh-Bah handshake. He told me the combination to the oaken padlock. He then departed, by taking flight upon a golden pheasant. I have crossed over, but my journey has only begun!
