Question about reporting reviews

    So I came across a couple reviews by a user who gives beers a 1 across the board and then in the text of the review admits they never bought the beer and is rating the beer on either price or the fact that they don't like the style. The only way to report the reviews that I could see are to "flag as inappropriate", which I did but nothing has happened. I reported similar reviews a long time ago but I swear back then there was a way to clarify what was inappropriate about it. Perhaps I'm missing something?

    Reporting reviews != immediate action. I review all of them and in some cases the user's history to help make a decision. And most reports are from people who simply disagree with the reviewer.

    In this case, two of the reported reviews were removed (and I messaged the user) as the user clearly didn't have the beer. The other one, they did have and the review stands.

    I always wondered about that, and good to know there is a protocol for this.

    @Todd - any chance you are in the Carson area Tuesday or Wednesday? Flying to LA for work, and plan to swing by Smog City & Phantom Carriage.
