    Just tried Juli-ish from Tree House Brewing Company in Charleton, Massachusetts. This is the American Pale Ale version of their flagship, Julius, and absolutely delicious.

    Been watching the Euros with yet another big day of play: England 2-0 over Germany in regulation play and Ukraine 2-1 over Sweden in extra time. It really is "The Beautiful Game."

    Reminds me of Euros 2016, when the Irish fans charmed their way through France. Even the Gendarmerie started getting into it:

    Clear, golden body; plenty of thick carbonation; dense and rocky white head, creamy and lasting. Nice aroma; dank and citrus-like; musk melon; a touch floral. Light and balanced flavors; very mild malt backbone; gentle and subdued sweetness; moderate hop bitterness. Light, smooth and velvety mouthfeel; dry overall.

    This is a fine golden ale. It has more hop bitterness than I anticipated from the beer's description, but I like it. It is well-rounded and flavorful yet not too heavy. It makes for a fine, warm weather thirst quencher.

    Poured at 61° F; bottled 052121

    I haven’t had this in probably 9 or 10 years. If you look up “West Coast IPA” in the beer nerd dictionary, there’s a picture of this beer. World class, IMHO.
