Happy Thursday - picked up a coupla new brewskis on my way home from work....including this tasty BrewDog IPA - $2 a pint for 3 week old locally brewed.....hell ya! Made for local grocery store chain Acme, based here in Akron....


guess Acme got pissed because BD did an exclusive for rival local grocer Buehlers, so....

Black Horizon Electric Eyes pale with citra and eldorado hops.

 

Fear. Movie. Lions. from Stone. $13.99 for a six-pack of 16 oz. cans, and it's a pretty good double IPA. It's always something I'll consider getting when I'm at the store. Cheers, folks, and Happy Thursday!

Fellow BA @vurt and Mrs. vurt visited my fair land last weekend, and gifted me a fresh 4-pack of this years Wanderjack IPA, my choice for best beer of 2020. A collab between Breakside (thus the Wander [their flagship IPA is Wanderlust]) and Barley Browns (thus the jack, after their flagship IPA, Pallet Jack). YASSSSSS!!!!SIIIRRR!!!, Dis beer be da bomb. Again.

Also, Happy Canada Day Jays, how like dat 7-2 loss to the Ms?

Splitting an Emperor Julius with the fiancé. Taste is amazing. A lot of orange, melon, and citrus flavors and it is very soft and smooth drinking on the finish. Cheers all!

 

Wife is out of town for a few days. That means I get to cook some things she doesn't always like. Tonight it will be some Low Country Boil. Drinking my last Creature Comforts Everything Is.. Riwaka Pilsner with meal prep. Think I'm going with an Allagash River Trip with the meal; however this Riwaka hopped pilsner would pair nicely too! Cheers BA's!

 

I chose to take some delicious Electric Eyes back to the hovel to drink on the lanai.

I listen to this when the Phils take on the Marlins lately, thinking maybe if I cringe hard enough the Phils will have a chance. Doesn't work, but I've tried everything else....
