Another excellent NEIPA from this brewery. I am hoping to only coach one game today. If that is the case, we have won a game and will on Monday. If we lose the first, we will need to win the second or our season is over. Proud of my boys either way, but I love to watch these kids play. Cheers and happy Independence Weekend all.

Good morning BAs! It’s coffee time…Big Timber’s “Porter” in my sick new Burial tumbler:



Best by 12/8/21. Poured at 56°. Chocolate Coffee Balanced. I put some gear and beer in the RV this morning, then later we’ll head to Huntington for the weekend. Sunny and warm is the forecast. Cheers and have a great Saturday y’all!

I was on my walk today, and on top of a tree that needs to be cleared from spanning the main path, I found this sword of Damocles waiting for someone powerful to stroll on by.

Apparently, I am pretty powerless.

Then, the GF said she was taking our boy cat to the vet to see if his recent spat of regurgitations are a sign of something wrong with him. That left the girl cat in the house by herself for the first time ever.

As I approached the front door, I heard a bass line thumping. Then, as I reached the front door, the noise stopped and I heard a rush of activity out back heading into the woods. I bet that praying mantis was the lookout; upon entering the house, the cat was sitting all innocently on the top of the split-level stairway.

Her fatal mistake was not having anyone to re-lock the always secured back door.

Also, I don't recall buying this beer - yet it was in the fridge:


Maybe some being at the party had read the last tasting event on wheat beers and saw Schneider Weisse mentioned often enough to give it a try. This Helle Weisse has a decent estery nose, but a bit lighter of a flavor profile. It picked up a little as I got the whole can in, but dirtied a bit as I dropped in the last dregs.
