Happy Saturday.....did our usual early morning hike at 7:45 am, then some food shopping and yard work etc....

Pre-gaming for the Monday SNPA tasting....going great with my Mapo Tofu and chinese veggies for lunch!

 

Well, if one is going to start their beer day before 10am, might as well go big. At 12%, this Black Butte XXXIII qualifies. Nicely. Only bottled a couple weeks ago, it's still a touch hot, but it's very nice.

This is Dad Bod @ Hop Culture Farms and Brew Company. A nice rustic taproom. They grow their own hops here (40 acres) and sell to other CT breweries as well. This is our 3rd visit.
Dad Bod is not too shabby but I already have one. In the background is American Hopic Pale Ale

 

Good afternoon morning and or evening advocates! Thanks to JamFuel for ushering in today's thread. Wow what a slamtastic weekend here on BA. Loads of stuff to do!
Another one of my all time fave beers here: Grolsch. It's beautiful just like the Netherlands.
Bottle is dated 1615 but it still tastes great!
I couldn't resist the swing top bottle I had last night so I had to go out this morning before my 10K run and buy more. I noticed that ya get more beer for less $ with 6pks vs 4pk swing tops.
A great year round beer and drop dead gorgeous after a hard workout in full summer sun.

Sloop's has made it to FL. Unfortunately it must have walked here since it's about 8 weeks old. It's still tasting great but I'll look for fresh in MA/NH.

 

I saw Blackfoot in concert with .38 Special and RAINBOW. All bands rocked! Cheers!

Where’s the feigned surprise font, as I know there is somewhat of a trend towards this. Have a few from years past in the fridge for a tasting with my friend.

Well, 12oz X 12% = 12oz%! That's just math. And, math doesn't care if you disagree!

 

Ok, I’m the shade now with pleasant gusts of breeze, so we’re going to stay outside. Sounds like Denmark won or has it in hand? I’ll check after posting.

This is also a little fridge cleaning. Not that I don’t like the Radeberger Zwickelbier, it just sorta got pushed aside in the fridge.

For what it’s worth, turns out the boy cat might have IBS, and I’m thinking, like, who doesn’t at his age? Apparently we have to limit food for now, but we have two cats (and they don’t scarf down food). Should be an interesting process.

 

True, but not what I was talking about, which was the format change, unless I missed last year’s with the same.
