    Happy Sunday and Independence Day BA's! "Independence Day represents freedom. It represents our country's liberations from Britain, providing Americans certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Three hours of OT complete, white clothes a washing....starting today with a pour of 2021 Hunaphu extremely enjoyable as it warms. Oh, and yes it's raining again...

    New to me Saison, planned on doing an 8 oz pour for New Beer Sunday #854, and the rest this afternoon, but this is so good I reversed that ratio.

    I wish I could be filled with a sense of national pride on a day like today. But I can not. The last 245 years suggests to me that the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness we purportedly center our nation around is nothing more than a catchy slogan. Nevertheless, I still believe in what America can become and I am willing to fight for that America. And while I am often enraged by others in this nation, I know they are my neighbors, deserving of respect and compassion.

    Getting ready to pour an Altbier from Notch. I will raise this glass to all those with whom I do not see eye-to-eye. May we recognize that we both need one another, before it is too late.
