Hey Team, Quick question - I'm going to be up by Dartmouth/Sunapee for a few days with the Mrs. I'm looking for a solid dinner restaurant with solid taps (as opposed to a brewery with good food - happy wife, happy life.) Any thoughts?
I would do Worthy Burger in South Royalton or Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock. You'll definitely get the taps at those spots, I'm not sure that's the food your Mrs. wants but the burgers and fries are awesome.
If you are ok with something more casual Big Fatty's in White River Junction always has a great tap list and BBQ food. Bonus points because River Roost brewing shares a parking lot and makes delicious beers.
I would pretty much guarantee the wife will be happier walking around Woodstock (Worthy Kitchen) than WRJ (Fatty's).
Go to Quechee and have lunch at Simon Pearce. The view and food are amazing and the tap list won’t disappoint. Be sure to set up a reservation a day or two before. Cheers.
Elixir in White River. Same parking lot as Big Fatty’s and River Roost but top notch food. Woodstock is kind of a ways from Sunapee. I lived in the upper valley for 3 years. Hanover might be the lamest college town on earth.
https://untappd.com/v/big-fattys-bbq/1384583 Speaking of Fatty's - there tap list right now is absurd. Maybe the best in NE save Armsby Abbey. Currently have Edward, multiples of Foam/River Roost/Lawson's beers, a SARA farmhouse ale, and 2018 BCBS. Ridiculous!!
