    Good day BAs! Off to a sunny start to the day with just a small chance of rain - we're heading to the Butler county fair this afternoon so I can hang out with the chickens. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Let's just say that whenever the palate (mouthfeel) is the best attribute of a beer, then there may be problems.

    The third and final day here of the heat wave. Got a great walk in yesterday in between a few pints, will do a different long walk sans beer later today.

    Former "Tied House" Schlitz Bar 1801 W. Wood, near where my family once lived, now completely gentrified.

    Pre-prohibition, when those were legal. Blue House / Red House beer payola still goes on, just not as blatant, at least in Chicago. Samuel Smith and others still carry on in England.

    Good afternoon BA's. I am taking the week off this week. Working on some landscape projects around my house in the mornings. Decided to enjoy some beers at Six Bridges Brewing in Johns Creek. They have a nice shady beer garden, perfect to relax & do some reading. Drinking a Shelby Golden Ale currently. Nice and light and refreshing. Cheers all!
