Man, that sucks for sure. We've had similar scenarios here. Had a 15 minute storm back in 2009 in my town that knocked the power out for 4 days. 1+ inch hail and a lot of wind - I ended up getting a new roof because of the damage, as well as having one side of my house resided.

I like this beer a lot. Still good, even after Utopia, though different leagues.

 

It's all about the local lovin' tonight. Front row seats down the 1st base line for the Iron Pigs game and a TALL pour of a local New England IPA from Bru Daddy's here in Allentown. (Bru Daddy's - Hazy Daddy....=> pretty solid stuff.)

Wow! That was a haymaker! What a clock cleaner. Of course it's always sunny after Godzilla walks thru town. The storms we got were all dry lightening. Like, white exploding sky that you can't even look at let alone be outdoors. Amazing. Thanks for the vid! Chin chin!

Having a Dankful IPA. My neighbor left a bunch of beer on my porch yesterday left over from his big party. I don't know where he gets his beer, but most of it dates back to 2020 and some are as old as a year. While I appreciate the gesture, I've already drain poured several of them that suck or that I'm not interested in drinking.

 

Rigatoni is my favorite pasta and that looks yummy. Cheers

Parabola '21. Really enjoying this year's iteration . . . mouthfeel is unreal as always, and the barreling is nicely balanced, especially as it warms, with just enough rye peeking through. Found a secret stash of another ten or so bottles at one of my locals, so I'm set for a while.

 

Bent Paddle Barrel-Aged Extra Baked Imperial Stout, 8.3% ABV. Pours black with a nice two finger head that left lots of lacing. Nose is hot chocolate mix and coconut, taste follows plus roast malt and bourbon, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.
