Polish Fest was great. Wish I could've waited out that pierogi line. Grodziskie was fantastic.

I would be willing to bet that Grodziskie and pierogi would be a great beer & food pairing. It has been a while since I have homebrewed a Grodziskie but maybe I should move this beer style up on my production schedule and convince my wife to make another batch of pierogies. Maybe discuss this pairing in the ongoing side-by-side thread? :beers:

    Na Zdrowie!

Anyone else REALLY miss Notch cans from Salem? Seriously one of the few positives from the pandemic was the lineup of cans available to go. Gearing up for a few vacations where cans are required (beach and Saratoga), would love nothing more than to grab a case of fresh lager ahead of time.

For what it’s worth there was a fresh drop of Salem lager a couple weeks ago, I have around ten cases in my store at the moment. I really wish they had more to go offerings at the brewery though.

It would be cool if you told us the name of “your store.” I’m guessing you’ve revealed this before but, for those of us who are dumb like me, it bears repeating.

Stop by anytime, I’m there pretty much everyday but Sundays, and if I’m there feel free to chat, I love to talk beer.

Was at Notch yesterday and noticed the coasters said Biergarten at Salem AND Brighton…

…also Tmavý and the Rauch on tap are just heavenly.

Looks like the soft opening at Brighton was tonight. Did anyone make it out?

Yes. Space is great. Beer was awesome. I started with a half liter of The Standard because I love it, but man, was Tmavy drinking unreal. My wife started with a schnitt of tmavy and immediately regretted not getting a half. I followed my Standard with a half of tmavy. We didn’t stay long as we had a sitter, but can’t wait for them to open for real and get back there.

Very nice. Only drawback, if you are driving, is limited parking. Anyone familiar with the area knows that already. Nice to see that everything on draft in Salem is also on draft in Brighton, and all beers served in style-appropriate glassware. Fun spot, plenty of seating for a relatively small indoor spot. The beer garden will be nice on rain-free nights. Outdoor furniture is not there yet but, despite that, I assume full-on open is imminent because everything else looks like it is entirely in place.
