Yesterday’s Screamfest was a blast! A good time was had by all, with many stories told of our friend Don. Nate was a most excellent host and the brewery is top flight, worthy of a visit when in Wisconsin. Hair of the dog - Big Timber’s Porter:

Good day BAs! Running a little late today because I spent two hours picking apples from my yard - it's supposed to rain later, so at 1100 I'll begin mowing. Spent five hours yesterday weeding my garden - my back's objecting NOW to me bending later - all those potential grass clippings end up in the garden tasked with weed (wild flower) suppression and moisture retention. Depending on the weather, this week the jalapenos, Cubanelles, and Bell peppers should start being picked, along with the zukes. Most of the tomatoes are still green and fruiting as are the eggplants. My milkweed patch is attracting monarchs and swallowtails as well as bumble- and honey bees. We should be getting some hummingbird moths later as well as black rat snakes. As it usually works out, we'll be traveling when the garden comes into its own - next Sunday Mrs Lizard and I will be at Dulles awaiting our flight to Iceland.

I'm impressed! Usually not a fan of brown ales but this one hits all my remaining taste buds. Rating 4.41, rDev +13.7%.

 

Very good for its price. And very drinkeable or I may have a problem...

 

Is that just for a vacation Oz or is there some kind of business there?

The shoulder is fairly immobile, but relatively pain free…the bruised ribs are quite sore…glad this will be a short travel day - Cheers!
