I've been watching the Virgin Galactic space flight, and it's been an amazing experience. Our daughter is the group safety leader for Virgin Galactic. She is so relieved the flight went as well as it did, and my wife and I are very proud of her.
Enjoying this beer.

Tree House Brewing Wanderer Helles Lager

Light clear golden color with pure white cap and lacing.

Aroma of fresh yeast rolls seasoned with flowery hops.

Taste of sweet malt and fresh bread like a well made French baguette. Flavor is consistent from entry to a very dry finish with a slight tingly touch of Noble hops in the aftertaste. Subtle yet sophisticated in an uncomplicated way. Very easy to drink and at 5.0 % you can have more than one at a sitting.

Outstanding example of a Helles Lager that I can recommend to just about everyone irrespective of their level of beer knowledge. Crisp, clean and a delight to drink

You are a 5-10 minute walk from three decent places for drafts: north is Timothy O'Tooles, south on the Riverwalk is The Northman, and west a couple blocks farther is Crushed by Giants, a newer brewery. Then about a mile west (213 Grand) is Binny's for packaged. Have fun!

Wicked Weed Brewing

 

Picked this up yesterday from NoFo Brew Co. Ever heard of a "small" beer. Me either until Good Word Brewing in Atlanta put on a Little Beer Fest back in June. It features beers under (most well under) 5% ABV. Essentially sessionable beers. This is Rosy the Frenchie a 3.4% ABV Farmhouse Ale or table beer. It's a beautiful looking beer. Light and refreshing. Most would find it a little watered down. It's actually quite interesting. Floral, not bitter and very effervescent. Champaign like. It would be great for all day by the pool. Cheers!
