Because I suggested he email them prior to that and instead he just kept asking the same question? Piss off jackass.

Just as easy to answer his post if you know. Like literally a forum is just people hanging out talking shop. Getting all smarmy about an innocent question. Gtfo.

Went up on Saturday with a few compadres and that online pour ordering reminded me of TSA circa 2002 - ID here, number there, wristbands check, wristband code matched to custom glass pour - yup. After all of that I have a few bulletpoints:
    - Online ordering is confusing AF but the staff cleared it up
    - Draft pour wait time was 15 mins on a July Saturday at 1pm
    - Had Super Sap Guava and Mango Julius which just makes me miss growlers. Weird ass beers you can share over a campfire.
    - TH’s BA stouts sans pandemic? Route 20 would be full of staties and wrecked priuses/WRX’es.

Fwiw treehouse is not awesome enough to fit your busy schedule into a 15 min window. I get their restrictions at that location but that's absurd.

Yeah I’m not doing that, at least on my way in. I got a lot of good heads up in the Cape Cod thread so I think I’m doing that on my way in.

I have my daughter’s schedule now, and Thursday looks like a relatively light day so I may take a run to Sandwich then.

When it comes to the snarkiness, thank you, but I get it. InterwebZz and whatnot. Considering my age, amount of time I’m married, kids I have, jobs I work…takes a lot to get me worked up. If I provided a few laughs with my admittedly stupid OCD I definitely get it. I don’t lose any sleep over any of it.

As long as there are no arguments over it’s called a hero or a hoagie or a sub or a grinder, I’ll call it whatever.

Step 3 make the beers in limited quantities or at least make it seem like they are limited. Charge $16 a four pack of 16 oz cans

To be fair, they also have a Helles, and Oak conditioned Helles, a Kolsch, a Brown Ale and Bear (with hint of Coffee) available today.

The complaint from many is the lack of 5ish% ABV pale ales. They have made many in the past, but few in recent months.

I remember back in the day when I'd see a $16 4-pack and that was just the most ridiculous thing you could ever imagine. I think it was Duvel? And maybe some other Belgians. Usually if they were more expensive, they'd be sold individually because who wants to pay the obscene price of $16 for a measly 4-pack?! I would laugh at the prospect of some poor sap getting suckered into spending so much on four beers.

Also me: huh, this $28 4-pack of PB&J berliner seems a bit pricey, but whatever. Ring me up.

There was a bar in New Jersey a couple weeks ago that had cans of Focal Banger for $16 each. A 4-pack at Alchemist is $12

When Monk's in Philly gets in Heady and Focal, they sell 4-packs for $30. It's absurd.
