Got tired after my run and that 8.5% Drekker so off to the LQ I went to get light beer. Aaaaahhhhhh.
Now we're set for a few on this hot summer day. Picked up some Modelo as well. Probly have to pull some ghost pepper salsa out...some limes...Hope you enjoy the Sun Ra songs done by Bernie Worrell.

An outstanding WC DIPA! Pine and lemon nose/taste. Sticky resinous feel. I like! Cheers from Mackinac Island, MI!

In Denver and finally getting to try some Russian River on draft! Blind Pig. Definitely one of the better IPA’s out there.


Pliny the Elder. It beats out of the bottle. I don’t need to tell you but I will…this is so damn good.

Going to be hanging out around Coors Field today for the All Star Game. Should be an awesome atmosphere. Cheers!

 

I’ve strolled around town, looked at the fort, and bought some fudge to take home to Mrs. Z…back to beer - At Great Turtle Brewery & Distillery, drinking “Mackinac Summer Sour”, a Cherry Gose with salt and lime juice:



Light on cherries, salt and lime. Some tartness. A very solid ok gose. A grey, cool, but dry afternoon…a fun day trip. Cheers from Mackinac Island, MI…I’ve got a ferry to catch back to the mainland, see y’all in a little while…

 

Such a great location on the river to relax…I’ll go back again. Enjoy and Cheers!

Once again, I get home from work and think I'm going to be able to spend some time in the courtyard, but then rain and storms come in on queue.

Anyway, just found out one of my best friends in Houston passed away. I guess, actually more like a non related Uncle, cause of the age difference, but still. He owned one of my favorite record stores in town, and I have been going there for over a decade. I got to know his family and we would go to concerts all over Houston together. I went by the store about a month ago, and there was a sign saying he was sick, and be back in a few weeks. That never happened.

Anyway, cheers to Fred Allred (the stores name was All Records ha). I can still remember many of the great albums I got from his store, just from memory
