    Good morning BA
Zillicoah was out of the Kellerpils on tap yesterday, so I bought a four pack to go...
Not as magical as the lagers I had on tap there, but still good even at 2+ months old. Cheers from Ashville!

Harland Japanese Lager 5%. Probably the best Lager I've ever had. When I crack open Budweiser this is what I wish it tasted like. Taking a couple of these jet skiing.

Bells Oberon 5.8%. 1st one of the year. Didn't even pour hard and the head spilled everywhere. Tastes great. I'm going to need more of these.

@Shanex Hope you and all are enjoying la Fete Nationale!

As is custom, the world pulls out Japanese Lagers to celebrate. (Two of the first six beers )

I do like Budweiser among the AALs, like this one as well.

    Beachwood Hayabusa Lager

Beachwood part of the 100 oz club, brewers I've had 100 + oz. this year.

Two more from 1979, love them both.

Hardywood Park Craft Brewery -- Baltic Sunrise (coffee Baltic porter)

    3.85/5 rDev -4.5%
    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

Deep, dark brown body crowned with a somewhat thin yet dense and creamy light khaki head. Smell of weak coffee and roasted grains. Dark malt flavor; a touch of cocoa; mild coffee flavor with a moderate to bold bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and rich; soothing residual sugars; generally sweet mouthfeel.

Baltic Sunrise brings a nice lager smoothness offset with a decent chocolate and coffee presence.

Poured at 53° F; canning data unreadable from bottom of the can.

Rained all night and it's a wonderful 65°.
It's the coolest it has been for a while, so we're heading out to cut a load of firewood.
    First an easy drinker.

Easy travel day so far…stopped in Traverse City to check out some breweries…first up - Right Brain Brewery, drinking the “Dead Kettle” Grapefruit IPA:

Kinda tastes like a Grapefruit Sculpin with a skunky nose. An enjoyable WC IPA. Had to linger, at least 20 pinball machines, skee ball, bowling, and classic rock on the PA.

    Cheers from Traverse City, MI!

Moving on…Smoked Rainbow Trout Dip with tortilla chips and veggies; and a Chief’s Coconut Brown Ale on tap:

A nice brown ale. Nutty, chocolate but very little coconut until the backend. Cheers from Rare Bird Brew Pub, Traverse City, MI!
