I was too slow by a few minutes yesterday which inspired this evening's Haiku

    Too slow for Revbrew
Long gone VS still on site
    Silently taunting

Those on tap variants sound incredible. What are the odds they make it to Saturday?

At past parties (2pm start), the variants have lasted into the early evening. I'm not sure if they have ever lasted until the following day but I could be wrong.

So with if being cherry season and all, I had to do this last night.

The cherry has settled down a scootch in the 2020 and this beer is drinking absolutely incredibly right now.

Damn do I ever :heart_eyes::heart_eyes: Rev!

Most, if not all, of the cool variants at Boss Jacket/Ryeway were on tap the next day and even crowlered off. So there’s precedent even if it’s not the norm

I had one last week and I wholeheartedly agree, although I loved it fresh too. I can't believe it lasted as long as it did at the brewery. I've seen it at a local shop and so very tempted to grab some more.

What's the deal with the Brewpub tomorrow--will the 3 releases be on tap there? Variants?

Wondering also, if anyone happens to know, whether I can pick up my new release purchase there (a 4-pack of each of the 3), which I believe is atypical but I happened to be able to do with the most recent Cuvee release (I was confused about when the Taproom would close, the wife and I were too late, and we pivoted to dinner at the Pub where the server helped us out). TIA.

Variants are only on tap at the Taproom and you have to pick up your purchase from there. Brewpub will have the canned releases on tap.

Of course there will be MANY other beers on tap too, so lots to enjoy.

Anyone heading to Open Bottle today for the release party for these? I'm hoping to be there around 4.

Ah, to be young and innocent.

Someone should simulate for him how it used to be. Make him call out of work, put him in dark alley, in front of an air conditioner set to 40, spray him with a garden hose, and have a line of people shuffle forward 5 ft every 5 mins.

    back in my day…

Sanctuary #24: Double Barrel Deth Jacket that came out at the April Cuvee de Grace release lasted at least a few days. Granted there were still capacity restrictions, but who knows. Probably depends on if people that have Saturday/Sunday pickup times still show up on Friday to drink.

Back when Deepwoods releases used to be only in the late fall and winter, it was all in person on Friday evenings, usually inclement weather, and they would have everyone lineup in the alley before they started distribution. Also it got dark really early, so it had the feel of what I could only imagine Soviet breadline to be.

The only thing that made it tolerable was the line sharing.

Can you walk up to curbside pick up or do you need to be in a car?
