I've seen people come up on bikes. I'd assume you could walk up no problem.

I walked up for Cuvée after having a drink or two inside with no issues.

After the VSOJ keg tapped at Beer Temple, they opened a crowler of Boss VSOJ & handed out 2-3 oz pours.

Yowza. Worth a trip to the taproom to try this.

I'm ashamed to say, I briefly was sad for the vaccine since I probably would have gotten a crowler had it been 2020. Possibly the most selfish, awful thought I've ever had, no matter how brief.

Gollum-level betrayal of my fellow man.

I think selfishly we would all be willing to accept the sacrifice of a few more hundred thousand people for another “Guy on Guy” self interview.

Hit the tap event in Grand Rapids yesterday.

Everything was fantastic. I'd give the nod to B1 VSOJ but it's close...it's still everything i want in a Barleywine.

Strawberry is a strawberry punch to the face...this beer has never drank like a barleywine to me but it's damn delicious.

Surprise of the night for me was supermassive though. I'm not a regular deth fan but this beer is stupid good. It might as well be a can of cold brew...the coffee is just outstanding, you might say supermassive even.

I found nothing fun or enjoyable about them at all. After doing the original VSOJ release, I never went back for a release and just figured I would grab whatever was available next day or maybe at the end of the night if there was no line to stop in and grab a drink or two.

Meanwhile More is posting IG stories calling the lines a beautiful thing.

A lot of people on the FB groups were excited about the line at More. They are out there bottle sharing.

Lines aren’t dead but they are going to be very case by case. Part of the More one is the share of course. But we also saw Maplewood not sell out of Cuppa which wouldn’t have been the case with an online sale

I mean because of the pandemic, almost every bottle shop and brewery has the IT infrastructure to sell stuff online. Having done it now for over a year. I don’t see myself standing in line again. If Binny’s goes back to lines this year, I’m out. I’ll get what I get later.

I never lined shared much to begin with because A) I was usually driving and B) I almost always went by myself (my wife stood in line with me one time, and it was the absolute worst line I’ve ever been in…vanilla ISLBS). So line shares have never moved the needle for me, and even less so now

When the hype exceeds the product, you promote the hype!

Thankfully Rev understands that it already has the superior product and the demand so they don’t need to pump up the hype by inconveniencing their customers and giving them the best of both worlds. Easy can pickup for those who don’t want to stand around in the rain for 5 hours to purchase and stellar taproom offerings for onsite drinking for those who have the time and ability to do so, which also has the effect of eliminating illegal drinking outside on public property and the mounds of trash created by the neckbeards.

The bottles left in the Rev alley were a site to behold.

Typical neckbeard- Got to get the rare variants before they become a shelf turd and people stop talking about them.
