They're still brewing Celebration?

It was the Paulaner Wiesn and Marzen.

 

I think we were hoping for half liters like the Festbier.

 

I'll test again this year, for science.

 

Not sure, but I've only ever gotten those cans from CBC Belmont.

Well the 11.2 oz. cans are new this year too though right?

Works for me, I hate 16 oz and half liter cans.

But yeah, 11.2 is a common size for German import "single servings."

 

Sorry for being daft, but it's a case of bottles, no? I don't see where it says cans on the box.

 

Oh, interesting! Last year was the first time I got into festbier and tried all of them. I liked HP a little better than Paulaner but it was close.

 

Going by @AlcahueteJ 's report and reply to the question of canning the Märzen -- not to mention the fully covered pack* that's more prominent in cans than bottles. The Paulaner Twitter feed shows the 6 and 12-pack bottles as the same as last year -- typical containers.

Then again, looking closer that could be a full case of (the new style) bottles, couldn't it? Maybe @AlcahueteJ misunderstood the original query and has led us astray?

To be precise, you were wishing for cans of the Märzen, no? Specifically .5 liter?

Not just hoping the Märzen would show?

Yup, my bad. Saw the post on Twitter and at first glance it looked like a covered pack of cans.

Just bottles…well, it IS here though, at least I got that part right.

Yeah, half liter cans are my preferred vessel, but I’ll pick up the bottles this year (like I’ve done every year) regardless. It would just be nice to see the larger format.
